No two snowflakes are alike, its said, & here are some close-up images which just shows how amazingly different each little snowflake truly is.








Here is a low temperature SEM magnification series for a snow crystal from 93x to 36000x which really shows how beautiful & complex these snow crystals look under the microscope.

And just in case if you want to save a snowflake for decades all you need to do is set microscope slides, cover slips & superglue outside when it's snowing.
