Orestad Gymnasium.

This isn't a mall, it's an Orestad College, Copenhagen, Denmark (actually a high school) designed by 3XN. 3XN 'has successfully integrated the traditional Scandinavian aspects of functionality with clarity & beauty in form'. It offers courses in science, social science & human science. Apart from this every student is given a laptop & to provide the needed connectivity the school has installed wireless internet access. Just one other thing the hallway looks really comfortable with those orange pillows.

Houses With A Difference.

Most of the houses are built from usual stuff. But these houses are the ones we don't see regularly; they have something different & unique in each of them. The main material used in their construction is …………

House made from paper.

House made from paper.(Image: Credit).
The Paper House is an actual house made from paper. It was built in 1922 by Mr. Elis F. Stenman, a mechanical engineer, who created building block material purely out of newspaper (about 100,000 newspapers were used). The only wood used in the house was for the frame, floor & roofs. The house was built with electricity & had running water but no bathroom.

Edible house.

Here is another one:

House made from scrap (5) 3
House made from scrap (5) 4This is what you get when you challenge a rockstar team of San Francisco architects, artists, contractors, city officials, & engineers to construct a house using only scrap. This one was constructed by using material from junkyards, spending less than $3,000 on the whole house!

The cardboard house.

Roman Colosseum.

Roman Colosseum (18) 1'Colosseum' the Roman amphitheatre is one of the greatest works of Roman architecture & engineering, & is located on the marshy land between the Esquiline & Caelian Hills. Construction for this is stated to be started between 70 & 72 AD under the emperor Vespasian & was completed in 80 AD under Titus, with further modifications being made during Domitian's reign.
Originally capable of seating 50,000 spectators, it had approximately eighty entrances that helped in easy movement of crowd, as they could arrive & leave easily & quickly. It was used for gladiatorial contests & public spectacles. The Colosseum remained in use for nearly 500 years & what we see today are the remains of the greatest amphitheatre of the antiquity.
