Droplet: This cool gardening device comes with a small timer, when its time to water, the top of the droplet will start blinking with a light, and once you are done watering the plants, the Droplet is reset for the next round.
Flower Power: Flower Power is a wireless Bluetooth device that lets you know your plant's requirements via your mobile device. It measures the ambient temperature, moisture levels, light and soil salinity. With a database of thousands of plants, the Flower Power then compares them with optimal conditions for that type of plant and if anything is amiss, it alerts you.
Koubachi Wi-Fi Plant Gadget: The Koubachi monitors water levels, soil consistency, humidity, temperature and light, and uses Wi-Fi to keep you informed. The app includes a plant encyclopedia of indoor plants that provides complete and in-depth information about your plant.
Wireless Gardening Gadget: You need to insert this gadget into your plant's soil and it measures moisture and light. And then it sends the data back to Docomo via WiFi, whereupon gardening experts will reflect upon the info and send you information via email to your mobile phone on how to groom your plant.
PlantSmart Digital Plant Care Gadget: All you need to do is simply insert the testing end into the ground for 24 hours. It works in '3' settings: 'Recommend mode', in this mode it lets you find right plant based on your unique growing conditions. In Monitor mode, it analyzes an existing plant and guides for improving your plant's health. In Water mode, it instantly measures soil moisture to see if your plant requires water.
Motes: Motes come in three different varieties: Climote gives precision temperature, humidity and light level information. While Growmote tells you when your plants need watering, how much light they're getting and if frost is coming. And Thermote sends you temperature information. Motes by Wimto uses Bluetooth Smart technology and can send an alert to your smartphone.
Lamp Flowerpot: It's a beautiful combination of a desk lamp and a flowerpot; it uses the USB as its power source, and for data transfer. It comes with a built-in microchip that keeps track of power usage and also detects when you need to water your plant, and notify you via SMS or social networking.
Digital Planter: This cool planter measures soil conditions, temperature, and water - calculates these variables based on the need of the said plant, and displays its condition via a screen.
Rolypoly Planters: When water levels are low, the planter slowly tips over using water as a counterweight. The best part is that each planter can be adjusted to work with any plant's watering requirements, though this is still a concept for now.
Floating Planter: It has a planter in planter, the inner planter floats up to a certain level when water is poured and when the water gets absorbed the inner planter returns to its original state, indicating the replenishment of water.
Planter by Jae-Han Song: This unusual concept planter expands and contracts; when it stops doing so, then its time to water the plant and place it in light.
