Allan Gray Investments - Puzzle Billboard: The billboard was built out of roughly 6000 puzzle pieces over 4 weeks and it was placed next to a busy road. Little piece of the headline was revealed to commuters every day and finally after 4 weeks, Allan Gray's logo was finally revealed. The whole exercise was to illustrate the fact that, when it comes to investing, patience is always rewarded.
Mosaic Billboard Made of 8,000 Women: Wonderbra's billboard put up at Tottenham Court Road in central London features images of about 8,000 women merged together to create an image of model Katie Green. You can visit the website to zoom in on the thousands of images that made this billboard.
Mercedes-Benz G-Class - Terrains Stone and Sand: "The Mercedes-Benz G class stands for perfect performance in every terrain. You could say that the G Class is one with the terrain, and vice versa. We brought this notion to life with unique G Class posters made out of real sand and stones."
Perwoll - See colors: It's known that you can't talk about colors if you can't see them. To promote Perwoll Colormagic, a detergent that protects colors from fading out, a unique street color vision test was created. Instead of colorful dots, over two thousand socks were rolled like just after laundry, and put into citylights at the bus stops. Those who were able to see colors could also spot the correct solution: a shape of Perwoll bottle inside the circle. As a result people in Warsaw could test their color vision and see with their own eyes that Perwoll allows them to see colors, even after washing.

FM Radio CD Billboard: The public in Cape Town was asked to bring in their old and even new CDs to create the largest CD billboard ever made at the Waterfront Clock Tower for 104.9FM. The back, silver-side of each CD was used to reflect '104.9FM', while the front non-reflective side made up the rest of the billboard. It took 1930 CDs to make this 12x3 meters billboard. 'There's no need for CDs in Cape Town'.
DE BEERS- A Diamond is Forever "Roses": Using 25,000 roses an installation was created in Grand Central Station to promote that diamonds, unlike roses, last forever.
HSBC -Wimbledon Grass Art: British artists Heather Ackroyd and D Harvey created "grass photographs" for HSBC's partnership with the Wimbledon tennis tournament. "Record photographic images by projecting black and white negatives onto grass as it grows in a dark room for 12 hours per day for more than a week. The grass grows in accordance to the modified light exposure, thus the photo "develops" on a living canvas."
The Children's Society - Flowertising: Its UK's first billboard made entirely out of flowers; this floral 20ft x 10ft 'flowertising' billboard was made up of 4,000 fresh roses, 1,500 fresh carnations and 1,000 chrysanthemums; contains over 102,000 petals and took over 288 hours to create and two hours to construct on site.
