Name on Rice: The art of rice writing is an age-old tradition; the artist requires great skill and practice. Using a fine writing instrument (special pen), the calligrapher writes on a grain of rice. The grain of rice is then put in a small glass bottle containing magnifying solution.

Rice Paintings and Carvings: These are the creations of Dave Stevens. Here we have some of the world's smallest paintings and carvings done on single grains of rice.
Rice Carvings: The first one is an eagle carved from three grains of rice using dental tools by hand, assembled and painted. The body is made out of one grain of rice while for the wings two grains are used. Then we have another eagle carved out of single rice grain and so are the duck and the baby.
Rice Rangoli: Rangoli is a form of sand painting decoration created using finely ground white and colored powders. These are mostly created in front of the houses. For a colorful display various powder colors and spices like turmeric, chili, rawa, rice flour, and wheat flour are simply mixed into the base. And at times flower petals and other colorful materials supplement these.
