Sculptures Made From Elements Of Nature.
Andy Goldsworthy is a brilliant British artist who works along with the nature to make his creations. An artist whose specialty is sculptures made from elements of nature; his goal is to understand nature by directly participating in nature as closely as he can. And he works directly with the nature using a variety of materials that includes leaves, twigs, flower petals, pinecones, sand, snow and stone. Most of his creations are ephemeral structures of ice, leaves, water, and sticks though a few are permanent installations in stone.
About the artist:
Andy Goldsworthy was born in Chesire, England, studied at Bradford School of Art and Preston Polytechnic and has been creating these sculptures since the mid 1970s. And presently he resides in Dumfries shire, Scotland.
