These amazing sculptures are able to walk using the wind on the beaches & are the creations of Theo Jansen. He is an artist & kinetic sculptor living & working in the Netherlands. He builds large works - "Strandbeest" - which are able to walk using the wind on the beaches of the Netherlands In a BMW television commercial, Jansen says "The walls between art and engineering exist only in our minds."
