Snake in engine compartment: It goes like this: A person was on his way to work at highway speeds when he heard some sound coming in from the engine bay & pulled over. After opening the hood, this is what he found:





Deer in engine compartment: Seeing these photos, its clear that this sort of thing cant happen without the knowledge of the driver or the driver isn't aware of it. We are talking about 150 lb deer in the engine compartment of a BMW convertible or perhaps it can be something done on purpose or rather if its friend's car then that explains a lot.
