Vehicles Made Of Wood.

A super fast car made of wood faster than a Porsche or Lamborghini:

'Splinter' the super fast wooden car has an approximate weight of 2500lbs, fitted with a Cadillac Northstar sourced V-8 4.6 liter engine, expected to have 600 HP, top speed of 240 MPH, able to go from 0-60 is just over 3 seconds, gets about 20 MPG, & above all its eco-friendly.

Joe Harmon graduate student of North Carolina State University & his team are designing this super car. "We are building a high-performance, mid-engine super car from wood composites as a graduate project at North Carolina State University. Wood will be used wherever possible, including the chassis, body, and large percentages of the suspension components and wheels. The car has an approxiate weight of 2500lbs and a power goal of over 600 horsepower".

Wooden Bicycle:



This wooden bike is created by Marco Facciola, a 16-year-old high school student for a school project. No metal is been used in making of this bike, even chain & gears are made of wood, with help of wooden joints & glue.
