Seashell Art.

Seashell art by Peggy Green.
I am an avid antiquer who loves Victorian Seashell Art, a much loved form of folk art. When turn-of-the-century collectable pieces became increasingly difficult to find, I decided to make them myself and keep this form of lost art alive.

When I began work, I luckily found 80 pounds of these now very rare and almost impossible to find pearlized turbo seashells that the Victorian artist used on their bordered work. I've been able to carefully use these along with my own collection of vintage seashells, creating my own form of seashell art.
