If everyday objects were made of meat by artist Simone Rachel.


Brooklyn based Turkish-born artist Pinar Yolacan is best known for her portraits of ladies wearing clothes fashioned from meat parts.

It's a piece by Victoria Reynolds called Down the Primrose Path, and it's essentially a trompe l'oeil painting of steak. It's part of a series of meat-inspired works by Reynolds.

Mark Ryden had used meat as a feature in several of his paintings.
