How To Change The Color Of Your Car If You Can't Afford It!

So how do you change the color of your car if you cant afford to get it painted? If you had asked Bastid & Aaron, they would have given you the proper solution: use 3M Safe Release Tape as it removes cleanly without adhesive transfer, though it's a solution for a short time.
And this is what they did when they flew to Albany, NY to drive a car home for a friend of theirs.

This is the car which they were supposed to drive & bring back home for their friend. And this is how it looked after it came from washing.
The problem was that they didn't like black & they liked their S4's in Nogaro blue. And that explains why the car went for a wash before a long drive, as it was a part of their solution. As they couldn't afford to get it painted they got the idea of using 3M Safe Release Masking Tape.
And this was the solution to their problem.
After 4 hours of taping, one pizza & 4 & a half rolls of tape, they were ready to go.

As they didn't have any plates, they made one so they wont be getting pulled over. That should keep the cops away.
It ended up being more like 3250 miles or something.

And here are a couple of other landmarks.


The elephant rocking goggles was their personal favorite one.

This was their first muffler man of the trip. Someone turned him into a cowboy. He was behind a fuel station in North Dakota.... or was it Wisconsin?

Must be to pass time & he redecorated the interiors too.
Their second muffler man & their first police meet. It was inevitable & eventual the matter of time before the police stops them; two kids dressed in all black driving a $40k car covered in tape.
