My favorite license plate (spotted near Boise, ID): NCC 1701
(In case you're not a Trekkie, that number identifies the Enterprise, a Constitution-class heavy cruiser launched in 2245 and generally commanded by James Tiberius Kirk)

i once saw the plate PEN15 ...
it was in KL, malaysia ...

M4D 1337 means mad leet. rm -rf is a unix command which means remove. the -rf part basically means go into subdirectories and remove all the folders within the current directory. without asking.
I don't get the M4D either, but the "rm" is the Unix remove command (-r = recursively, meaning all underlying subdirectories; -f = force, never prompt).

I actually saw a plate today that said "1337", which is why I looked up this article. It was in Massachusetts, belonged to some old guy getting groceries. -shrug-
I remember one said PHA-QUE not sure where though.
